depends on what used for and what the types are the zeiss is great but also there nikon and cannon and there is also Leupold and omega but some can cost a bunch

Zeiss, Leica, Nikon, Canon, and so on are all preferred, but not that many people go out and buy a pair of $500-$1000 or more on binoculars. At a local store, they have a pile of Leica boxes, filled with binoculars. Yes, they are preferred, but whose going to buy them? Only a few.

Birders prefer Swarovsk if they have the money to buy a pair. Zeiss and Leica are not all that popular with birders, but I believe Leica is preferred over Zeiss which do not have all that great a reputation among birders. Next to Swarovsk Nikons are considered amongst birders. Some actually prefer Nikon over Swarovsk.
