The RL-30 Remov-A-Lens from Carson Optical is a 3-in-1 LED Lighted Hand-Held Magnifier. Set includes one lighted handle, one 2x power 110mm rimless round acrylic lens, one power 2x rimless rectangular lens, one 4x power dual acrylic lens and a protective pouch to keep lenses safe and scratch-free. To use, simply select from the three lenses included and snap the lens into the handle. Press the buttons on the side of the handle to release the lens and select a new one. The comfortable ergonomic handle fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and features a non-slip rubber grip. Fold-out legs can be extended from the handle for hands-free use. Crystal clear acrylic lenses and two super bright LED lights ensure a crisp, bright-magnified image. Uses 3 AAA batteries (not included).

I was looking for a good quality handheld magnifying glass and I found it. The Carson Remove-A-Lens system is a very nice package. The interchangeable lens system is a great feature, but I am very impressed with the fold-away legs on the handle. Removing a splinter from my finger will no longer be a three handed job! I’ll finally be able to do it all by myself and see what I’m doing as well. Two LED’s provide more than ample light for the task at hand. Carson also provides a padded storage/travel case with cutouts in the padding to secure each accessory. This is just a top notch handheld magnification system and it was worth every cent paid. I highly recommend it.

When I hit 40, I noticed that I needed more light and magnification to see the smaller items. I have been looking for a magnifier for several months. I wanted magnification and a light source all in one. I also wanted a higher quality item, so that it would last longer and perform better. This Carson Remov-A-Lens 3-in-1 LED Magnifier fit the bill. While it is not cheap, you do get what you pay for. I am very happy and would recommend it to anyone who requires some assistance in seeing smaller items.
