Can anyone tell me when these binoculars were made?

Question by Jon: Can anyone tell me when these binoculars were made?
I have my grandfather's binoculars. My mom always told me that he had used them in WWII. On the left side of the binoculars is the company name called "Telesar Optics" and the model number is stated as "No.I.62750". On the right side are some numbers " 7 X 50" under that it reads "Field 7.1°" under that it reads "No. 60088". I should also note that his social security number is engraved on them as well as a B- which I am suspecting was his blood type.
I googled it but nothing popped up.

K&N air intake kits virtually eliminate restriction between the air filter and the engine by replacing the air filter and the entire air path to the engine. The aerodynamically engineered tube drives a massive amount of air into the engine, which translates into power. The K&N 63 Series Intake Kits are not legal for street use in California.

  1. One idea would be to take them to a pawn shop. Someone there might be able to point you in the right direction to find out more about them.

This is probably not the best category to find that information. Try posting your question in the Seniors category. You will find it in Society and Culture / Cultures and Groups / Seniors. Most likely you will find someone there who can help you.
